Kochouseph Chittilappilly is an Indian businessman best known as the founder and Vice Chairman of V-Guard Industries Ltd and a chain of amusement parks called Wonderla.He did his schooling at the parish school in Parappur in Thrissur and attended Christ College, Irinjalakuda. He was awarded a Masters degree in Physics from St. Thomas College, Thrissur in 1970. He started his career as a supervisor in an electronics company, Telics, and later founder V Guard Industries Ltd in 1977. He is married to Sheila and has two sons Arun Chittilappilly and Mithun Chittilappilly. Sheila is the Managing Director of V-Star creations, a group company. Arun heads the amusement park business and Mithun focuses on V Guard.



മാര്‍ ബോസ്കോ പുത്തൂര്‍



Mar Bosco Puthur (b. 28 May 1946, ParappurKeralaIndia) is aSyro Malabar Catholic Bishop. He is the Curia Bishop of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. Previously, he has served as Rector of St. Joseph's Pontifical Seminary, Mangalapuzha. He was also a Monsignor of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. Following the sudden death of Mar Varkey Vithayathil, he has also served as theAdministrator of the Major Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly and of the Syro-Malabar Church.

C. V. Pappachan (born 1965) is a former Indian footballplayer from ThrissurKerala. He captained India in a couple of tournaments. Born in Parappur in Thrissur district, Pappachan turned professional in 1982 and played as a striker. Prior to being recurited for Kerala Police team by the then DGP M. K. Joseph, he played as striker representing Sree Kerala Varma college and Calicut University and played in an international university tournament in Japan. He played for Kerala Police team during 1982-1998 and for FC Kochin during 1998-99. Pappachan captained Kerala Police team and Kerala State team and represented India in many tournaments including the 1987 Calicut Nehru Cup International Football Tournament and the 1991 Thiruvananthapuram Nehru Cup. He scored the lone goal for India when they met Hungary 1991 edition of Nehru Cup. Pappachan played in the Indian senior B National Team at the Sri Lanka Independence Cup in 1998. He represented Kerala in the Santosh Trophy tournament eight times. He has also played in many national and international tournaments. Currently, he is Assistant Commandant at the Kerala Police Academy.

Pappachan made his debut as a Panchari Melam performer at a function in the Thekkinkad Maidan on 31 August 2009. Speaker of Kerala legislative assembly K. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the function. He is now a trained percussionist. As a footballer, his legs once made the vigorous moves in the play field to entertain his fans, it is now his hands on the chenda that thrill the spectators.
